I'm getting married...

…and I have made our wedding rings. This got me really thinking about that process. I have made a number of wedding rings over the last year or so and it is such a joy. The maker and wearer have a special bond, and to be part of creating that symbol of marriage is truly a privilege and an honour.

I’ve also made pieces for engagements, special birthdays, anniversaries. its is so lovely to play a small part in those milestones.

Along with arranging a wedding (only 2 plus 2 so not really onerous! I am taking an online course in Fine Jewellery making, so having great fun learning new techniques. Filigree this week - really looking forward to that. Watch this space for future pieces.

So, this, my first blog, is short and sweet.
